Today we drove for 13 hours, but because of the time difference it only turned out to be 12. We drove through Michigan, and through Indiana.Through Illinois, and the Chicago rush hour traffic was a little, actually a lot scary but we made it! We drove through Iowa and it was very peaceful.Mark Twain said that Iowa had the best sunsets, and I can see why. It's beautiful here with old buildings and fields and hills that go for miles. We've seen 28 lisence plates already.We're staying in Dubuque right now, and the weather is pretty peaceful outside. It's July 1st, and we are so excited to have started our adventure.
