Woke up and finally were able to sleep in! I discovered my love-Denny's, and had an awesome breakfast. Then we went to Hawthorne street: the absolute Hippie street! Insense, beads, bandanas, jewelry, and amazing vintage clothing. Went to the biggest vintage clothing store ever and found the coolest stuff. Then, we drove to Seaside and found out they were having their Miss Oregon competion that night. After looking around their streets going past the carousel, and dipping our toes in the ocean, we headed to Cannon beach to go to Mo's for supper; we had their famous clam chowder! On our way to Newport, we had a traffic jam because a guy's boat caught on fire at the side of the road.(At least we knew the tsunami evacuation route. There were signs everywhere) Quite an adventurous, but slower paced day!
