Day 25: Final Destination- Ouray, Colerado

Today was a driving day-unintentionaly. We got up and went to Arches National Park. We ended up attempting to "hike" at noon, in the desert, which got too hot, so we admired the spiraling rocks from our car. At about 1:00, we decided to drive to Ouray which was supposed to take about 3 hours. At 6:30 we were still driving, because mom insisted on not following the GPS, and going the scenic route. It was pretty, but long. We had a fabulous dinner at an old western restaurant, with a talented man playin the Honky-Tonk piano. We chatted him up for a bit, and I had escargot, a good salad, and clam linguine! We are staying in a bed and breakfast, with a hot tub right outside our door. It is going to be a nice, relaxing couple of next days!
